568 medals to this regiment, comprising 38 for the 2nd Kaffir War 1846-47, 197 for the 3rd Kaffir War 1850-53, and 333 to those who fought in both the 2nd and 3rd Kaffir Wars, the latter including Private Joseph Campbell who is one of a number of men incorrectly identified as Drummers on the medal roll.
