404 medals issued to the Armed Constabulary.

Henry Hyde Carr was born in Liverpool in 1844 and served as a Constable in New Zealand in the 8th and 9th Divisions of the Armed Constabulary. He died at Wairoa on 1 September 1917. This is his original medal but a replacement medal, in pair with his N.Z. Police L.S. & G.C. medal, has been held by Wairoa Museum since 1964.
