Ex Glendining’s April 1911.

Thomas Chuck was born at Asbenden, Hertfordshire, and enlisted into the 14th Foot at St Albans on 3 July 1812, aged twenty-one. He served a total of twenty years 147 days, including ‘Twelve Years Ninety Days in the East Indies; served upwards of Four Years in the Mediterranean, & was at the Storming & Capture of Bhurtpore’. He was discharged on 26 November 1832 in consequence of an ‘Impaired Constitution’. Sold with copy service papers.
