Ex Spink Numismatic Circular 1904.

Joseph Eaton was born at Repton, Derbyshire, and enlisted into the 3rd or King’s Own Regiment of Dragoons at Derby on 17 September 1805, aged 18 years, for unlimited service. He was discharged on 15 September 1818, in consequence of being ‘extremely afflicted with rheumatism’. Sold with copy discharge papers.
