Imperial German Officer’s Undress Cap, in field grey cloth with a broad black velvet band, this and the crown with narrow red piping, pressed leather black patent peak, two cockades one silver plate with light blue cloth centre and the national one; waxed linen sweat band and beige silk lining (part perished), one small moth hole to the front and the peak part detached otherwise good condition; A French officer’s kepi in black velvet, the crown of crimson cloth with gold lace decoration, bound black patent leather peak and narrow gold lace fixed ‘chin-strap’, leather sweat band and mid brown silk lining, retailer’s label, ‘C.Simon Tailleur Hommes Dames et Militaires 1 Marlborough Court Carnaby St London W’, good condition (2) £80-100
