Loyal London Volunteers Medal, First Regiment, 1803, silver, 34mm, struck with name engraved in space on reverse, obv. oval garter surmounted by royal crown, inscribed ‘First Regiment’, ‘LLV’ within the garter with rays above and below, the whole surrounded by a trophy of arms; rev. ‘To perpetuate the memory of Samuel Tomkins as a voluntary defender of his country. 1803’; together with another struck shooting medal, silver, 46mm, obv. kneeling rifleman wearing bell top shako firing at distant target; rev. engraved ‘1833 No. 61’, pierced with small ring for suspension, very fine (2) £60-80
