Captain P. M. C. Trelease, Recce Corps, contracted Tuberculosis in North Africa and was evacuated to England in September 1943. He relinquished his commission on grounds of ill health on 20 April 1944 and died of his illness on 31 March 1945. Sold with named condolence slip and medal card box of issue to ‘F/Lt. C. R. Trelease of 5 Gilston Road, London, S.W.10. Also with several photographs of the recipient.
