Four: Private F. S. Fishenden, Tank Corps

British War and Victory Medals (305978 Pte., Tank Corps); Jubilee 1935; Coronation 1937, mounted as worn, nearly extremely fine (4) £50-70

Fred Sidney Fishenden, a plumber, from East Molesey, attested for service on 10 December 1915, aged 21 years. Serving initially in the R.E. Depot, he was transferred to the Tank Corps in January 1918, serving in France/Flanders, 26 February 1918-28 October 1919. He was discharged as no longer physically fit for war service on 19 November 1919. Sold with copied service papers.
