Bernard Edwin Brown entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 14 April 1915 as a Serjeant in the West Yorkshire Regiment. He was commissioned a Lieutenant in the 5th Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment on 1 June 1916. During the Second World War, in 1942, he was a Lieutenant and Quartermaster to the Recce Training Centre. He was Captain and Quartermaster in the Royal Tank Regiment in 1947. Sold with copied m.i.c.
