Charles Ladyman was born in Everton and enlisted at Liverpool. Serving with the 5th Battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, he was killed in action, Balkans, on 16 September 1916, aged 29 years. The son of William and Ann jane Ladyman of Liverpool; he was buried in the Struma Military Cemetery, Greece.

Thomas Sullivan was born in Great Yarmouth and enlisted at Newcastle-on-Tyne. Serving with the 403rd Howitzer Battery, R.F.A.. he was killed in action, Mesopotamia, on 27 October 1918. His name is commemorated on the Basra Memorial.
