Three: Major K. F. C. Marshall, Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders

Kenneth Francis Crawley Marshall was born on 14 October 1868 and educated at Haileybury College, 1882-86 and the Royal Military College, 1888-89. He was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders on 24 April 1889 and attained the rank of Major on 27 June 1911. He entered France in August 1914 as second-in-command of the 2nd Battalion Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders. Present at Le Cateau and other early actions, he returned to England in November 1914 and retired on 19 January 1915. Major Marshall died on 18 October 1944.
