China 1842 (Lieut. A. W. Onslow, Bengal Army) renamed; Sutlej 1845-46, for Sobraon 1846, 1 clasp, Ferozeshuhur (Lieut. A. W. Onslow, 41st N.I.) officially impressed later issue but not entitled to clasp, contact marks, otherwise very fine (2) £250-300

Major A. W. Onslow served during the China War, including the capture of Shin Changfoo and investment of the city of Nankin (Medal); he served throughout the Sutlej campaign of 1845-46 and was present at the battle of Sobraon (Wounded, medal).
