William Robert Ditchburn was born in and enlisted at Newcastle-on-Tyne. Serving with the 1st/6th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers, he died, France/Flanders, on 27 April 1915, aged 22 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial.

Percy Hickey was born in Pembroke and enlisted at Devonport. Serving with the 31st Heavy Battery, R.G.A., he died of wounds, France/Flanders, on 27 February 1916. He was buried in the Vlamertinghe Military Cemetery.
