Charles Frier was born in Faversham, Kent and living in Wingham, enlisted at Canterbury. Serving as a C.S.M. with the 4th Battalion Worcestershire Regiment, he died at sea on 9 December 1915. He was buried in the East Nudros Military Cemetery. He was the son of Mrs Gertrude Frier of High Street, Wingham, Canterbury.

William Barker was born in Wroxeter, Shropshire and enlisted at Liverpool. Serving with the 6th Battalion Shropshire Light Infantry, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 29 November 1917. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Cambrai Memorial, Louveral.
