John Henry Bagnall was born in Lower Ince, Wigan and enlisted at Wigan. Serving with the 11th Battalion Manchester Regiment, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 4 October 1917. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial.

John Holligan was born in Wexford and living in Widnes, Lancashire, enlisted at Warrington. Serving with the 2nd Battalion South Lancashire Regiment, he died of wounds, France/Flanders, on 13 March 1915. He was buried in the Kemmel Chateau Military Cemetery.
