Canada General Service 1866-70, 1 clasp, Fenian Raid 1866 (Pte. J. Hislop, 14th P.W.O.R.) claw refixed and slack, edge bruising, very fine £140-180

Sold with copied extracts from roll which state that Hislop served 2 to 22 June 1866 at Kingston and Cornwall and May 1870 to June 1871 at Fort Garry. Shown as being entitled to both the ‘1866’ and ‘1870’ Fenian Raid clasps on the roll. Hislop received his Canada General Service Medal in July 1901 when living in Lebanon, Kansas, U.S.A.
