Military General Service 1793-1814, 2 clasps, Vittoria, Pyrenees (W. Smyth, Ensn. 31st Foot) clasp carriage a little buckled, light edge bruising, otherwise good very fine £1200-1400

William Smyth was appointed Ensign in the 31st Foot on 16 May 1811, and served with that regiment in the Peninsula at the battles of Vittoria and the Pyrenees. He was placed on the half-pay as a Lieutenant in the Scots Fusilier Guards on 30 December 1819.
