Crimea 1854-56, 4 clasps, Alma, Balaklava, Inkermann, Sebastopol (68th Regt.), officially impressed naming; Turkish Crimea 1855, British issue, unnamed, pierced with ring and straight bar suspension, first with slight edge bruising, good very fine (2) £600-700

Samuel Lockwood was born in East Stouham, near Stowmarket, Suffolk and enlisted into the 95th regiment on 16 August 1845. At his own request he transferred to the 68th Regiment in January 1846. He was discharged in November 1856 being found unfit for further service. Sold with copied discharge papers.
