David Taylor was born in Leuchars, Fife and attested for service in the Army on 28 January 1881, aged 18 years, 6 months. He served with the Royal Highlanders in Egypt, 16 January 1883 - 30 April 1886 and in Malta, 1 May 1886 - 25 January 1887. Sold with copied service papers. Clasps confirmed.
