Job Soper was born in Ramplsham, Near Maiden Newton, Dorsetshire. A labourer by occupation, he attested for the Welsh Regiment on 28 February 1885, aged 24 years, 6 months. He served overseas in Egypt and the Sudan, December 1886-August 1889. He was discharged as time expired on 27 February 1897. Sold with copied service papers.
