One Pound, 5 June 1937, O/C 1805, printer’s proof with new date 25 February 1938 entered by hand, ‘3524’ above initials at top right, perforated cancelled w w sprague & co ltd london, printed signature of H.E. Marquand (McCammon GN 33; Pick 16a). A few spots of foxing, a thin dark streak on back edge and pinholes, otherwise about extremely fine, rare (£400-500)
