Germany, First World War, Fourth Honved Infantry Regiment, a very large uniface patriotic medallion in iron, signed Sidlo, dated 1915-1916, male figure in military uniform attacking three monsters, 285mm (cf. BDM suppl. VIII, p. 206). Extremely fine, struck in high relief and of good workmanship (£80-100)

The badge recorded in BDM is 40mm. Forrer gives no other information on the medallist. Worthy of further research.
