France, Le Nid, c.1900, an Art Nouveau bronze plaque by J.-B. Daniel-Dupuis, naked wood nymph kneeling on a rock, discovering a bird’s nest in a tree with two birds in it, reverse naked child sat on a branch, playing with a bird, 66 x 37mm (PBE 319; CGMP p.175; BM Acq. 1983-7, p.20, 67; BDM I, 466; cf. DNW 35, 504). A charming plaque, about extremely fine (£30-40)
