France, L’Hiver, 1927, a uniface square bronze plaque by H. Dropsy for Canale, seated nude female with long hair sheltering from inclement weather by a tree-stump, 84 x 84mm, back engraved 1/5 and signed by the artist (Dropsy Exh. Cat. 1964, –; cf. BDW 48, 739). Extremely fine and very rare in the large size, especially as a limited issue; set on a bronze base (£150-200)
