Greenock Academy, a hollow engraved silver award, named (VIII English, Awarded to James Osbourne, June 1860), hallmarked jg, 44mm (Brodie 640, this piece); Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland, a silver award medal, unsigned [by A. Kirkwood], seated female crowning two standing figures, rev. wreath, named (Thomas Hodge, Mollinshillhead, for Ayrshire Bull, 1899), 45mm (Brodie 102, this piece) [2]. Very fine and better; first with clip and ring for suspension, second in case of issue (£40-60)
