Charles I (1625-1649), Halfcrown, no mm, horseman left, trace of clashed dies below (as is usual), three pellets before legend, rev. crowned oval shield with lion skin garniture, colon before legend, triangle of pellets after it, 13.46g/12h (Lyall b/ii; SCBI Brooker 1114; N 2628; S 3131). Horseman smoothed, otherwise very fine, very rare (£1,800-2,000)
