Offa (757-796), Penny, Gp II, Bagheard, offa rex around cross of lobes with lobes in angles, rev. beghhard (eg in monogram) within lunettes divided by two horizontal long crosses and pellets, 1.13g/2h (cf. CEB 22, but from a different obv. die; N 279; S 904). Edge slightly bent at 8 o’clock, otherwise good very fine, very rare (£800-1,000)
