Edward III (1327-1377), Noble, Calais, Gp III, mm. cross pattée on rev. only, flag at stern, ropes 3-1, saltire stops, rev. e and pellet in centre, pellet each side of top and bottom lis and below top lis, double saltire stops, single after ibat, 1.65g/5h (cf. Doubleday 302; N 1281; S 1521). Obverse from rusted die, very fine, reverse extremely fine, rare (£1,000-1,200)
