Germany, World War One, St. Barbara, an octagonal uniface iron plaquette, unsigned, standing figure of St. Barbara holding sword and cup, schütz die artillerie 3 gerbirgs brigade below, 265mm x 135mm. Good very fine, a few light spots of rust (£50-60)

St. Barbara is the patron saint of the Aritillery. Perhaps a special commission for the brigade, in which case the plaque could be unique.
