19th Century, Jersey, J. Le Caudey, brass Sixpence, legend, reverse value, edge grained, struck en médaille, 26mm (cf. McCammon p.182). Small edge nick on reverse at 11 o’clock and has been lightly brushed, otherwise very fine and extremely rare (£250-300)

McCammon gives the trader’s address as 59 Commercial Street, Jersey; this token states the address as 7 & 9 Commercial Street. Not represented in the R.J. Ford collection
