Tailteann Games, 1924, a bronze award medal, unsigned [by O. Sheppard], bust of Queen Tailte to left, wearing head band and veil, rev. Celtic strapwork circlet bearing the arms of the four provinces of Ireland, centre engraved (Clay Bird), 51mm (cf. BDW 7, 740). Virtually as struck; in brown fitted case of issue by P. Quinn & Co, North strand, Dublin, cased medals very rare as such (£30-40)
