The Royal Family, 1732, a white metal medal by J. Croker and J.S. Tanner, busts of George II and Caroline vis-à-vis, rev. busts of their seven children, the edge ingraved in flowing script (His Majesty’s reward to Richd. Hornby of the Wrightson and Isabell for bravely defending her with five men and three boys against a french privateer of 70 men and blowing up the privateer, June 2, 1744), 69mm (MI II, 500/47; E 528). Good fine and unusual, worthy of further research (£100-200)
