France, Third Republic, Legion of Honour, Officer’s breast badge, gold and enamel, rosette on ribbon, minor enamel damage; Croix de Guerre 1914-1916, the ribbons of the two decorations affixed by scews on to the plaque; Commemorative Plaque, ‘aprés Rudi Greber’, manufactured by Fumiere, Paris, 316 x 197mm. (approx.), bronze, portraying the armoured and winged figure of Victory advancing with sword drawn, below, within a wreath of palm and laurel is inscribed, ‘Ordre No.89 du 18e Corps d’Armée: Capitaine Favre, Paul Louis Alcide. “Officier d’une énergie et d’un sang-froid au dessus de tout éloge; a été tué au moment où il arrivait avec une partie de sa compagnie sur la position qui lui avait été assignée.
