A rare Great War M.M. group of three awarded to Acting Sergeant R. Evans, British West Indies Regiment

Rudolph Evans was decorated for his services in the 4th Battalion, British West Indies Regiment. Given that his award was not gazetted until right at the end of the War, and the fact his MIC entry states that his British War and Victory Medals were originally returned unclaimed in August 1924, it is interesting to speculate whether his M.M. was indeed issued unnamed, when, at length, his whereabouts were established.
