Edward Stayton enlisted in December 1915 and was discharged as a result of wounds in October 1918 (S.W.B. list refers).

Sold with several wartime photographs and two family “In Memoriam” cards, the former including a large format portrait photograph of the recipient in uniform, in an old glazed wooden frame; also see Lot 1193 for his son’s 1939-45 War awards.
