Lance-Corporal Arthur Edward Garnham, 16th Fortress Company, Royal Engineers, died on the Island of Malta on 3/4 May 1941, aged 23 years. He buried in the Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta. He was the son of Mrs A. Garnham of Forward Green, Stowmarket, Suffolk. Sold with named condolence slip and medal forwarding box, this addressed to Mrs A. Garnham at the above address. Also with a (damaged and repaired) booklet entitled, ‘The Air Battle of Malta’. Additionally with several modern photographs of A. E. Garnham’s grave and the Pieta Military Cemetery.
