Harry Ernest Barber lived in Gorleston, Norfolk and enlisted at Great Yarmouth. He served initially as Private 21377 in the East Yorkshire Regiment. Serving with the 18th (Service) Battalion York and Lancaster Regiment, he died of wounds, France/Flanders, on 1 September 1918.
