Archibald Clarence Blogg served as a Corporal in the 23rd Battalion London Regiment. On 19 September 1916 he was admitted to 26 General Hospital at Etaples having suffered a bayonet wound to the nose. He was discharged from the hospital three days later. In May 1918 he was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant iin the 21st Battalion London Regiment (First Surrey Rifles). Serving initially in the Air Ministry, he was eventually granted a commission in the R.A.F. Sold with original commission document appointing him 2nd Lieutenant in the Territorial Force and Army Forms giving notification of his wound and discharge. With some copied research.
