M.S.M. London Gazette 17 June 1918. ‘... in recognition of valuable services rendered with the Forces in France during the present war’.

Percival William Thompson was born in St. Stephen’s, Lancashire and enlisted at Mill Hill, Middlesex. Serving with “B” Battery, 156th Brigade, R.F.A., he died of wounds, France/Flanders, on 19 March 1918, aged 30 years. He was buried in Nine Elms British Cemetery.
