Edward Norman Powell was born in Greenwich and enlisted at Deptford. Serving with the 11th Battalion Royal West Kent Regiment, he was killed in action on 8 April 1917, aged 32 years. He was buried in the Dicksbusch New Military Cemetery, Ieper, Belgium.

David Whamond was born in Lochee, Forfarshire and enlisted at Dundee. Serving in the 11th Battalion Lancashire Fusiliers, he died of wounds on 28 April 1918. He was buried in La Clytte Military Cemetery, Heuvelland, Belgium
