China 1857-60, 2 clasps, Taku Forts 1860, Pekin 1860 (Patk. Neil, 31st Regt.), officially impressed naming, edge bruising and contact marks, good fine £300-350

Patrick Neil was also a veteran of the First Sikh War, during the course of which he was wounded in the face by a musket ball at Sobraon and won entitlement to the Medal with three clasps; and of the Crimea, where he won entitlement to the Medal and “Sebastopol” clasp and Turkish Medal. He was also a recipient of the Army L.S. & G.C. Medal, which he received in July 1861.
