R.H.S. Case 28006: Fazl Khan, 24th Punjab Infantry; Gulab Din, 24th Punjab Infantry; Khwaja Muhammad, 24th Punjab Infantry. ‘At great personal risk, rescued Hyat Gul from drowning in the Jumna at Delhi, on the 12th July 1895.’

R.H.S. Case 43014: Nawab Khan, Driver 10th Mule Corps. ‘On the 10th September 1916, a man was washing in shallow water in the Karum River, Persia, when he was seized by a shark. Khan at once went to his help and succeeded in liberating him and dragging him out, but he died soon after.’
