Ex Spink Numismatic Circular, November 1973.

Samuel Challis is confirmed on the rolls as an Ordinary Seaman aboard H.M.S.
Namur at this action. He received a second medal with two further clasps, Basque Roads 1809 and 27 Sep. Boat Service 1810, for service as Steward’s Mate aboard H.M.S. Valiant. His 2-clasp medal was sold by Spink in December 1984.
