2nd West York Yeomanry Cavalry (The Prince of Wales’s Own), a very scarce officer’s black leather undress sabretache c1885-1901, the face overlaid with a large single piece ornament in gilt and silver plate comprising, the Prince of Wales’s crest and motto over a circle bearing the unit title and containing a silver rose, a tri-part scroll below ‘Prince of Wales’s Own’, (see Carman MHS Special Number 1988 p54), overall crazing to the face and bag, one ‘D’ ring missing and the ornament not original to the face £150-200
