2nd West Yorkshire Yeomanry, a very fine and scarce officer’s full dress sabretache, the dark blue/black velvet face edged with gold close check pattern bullion lace, central ornaments comprise St. Edward’s crown in gold and silver lace with crimson velvet cushions, ‘VR’ cypher ‘2’ and ornate scrolls ‘West York Yeomanry Cavalry’ all in gold bullion lace, complete with black moroccan bag, ‘D’ rings etc, contained in a modern good quality glazed frame (see Carman p46), very slight wear to the velvet outer edging otherwise very good condition £500-700
