Lancashire Hussars, a fine and rare officer’s full dress sabretache c 1880-90; crimson cloth face edged with silver small zig-zag pattern train lace, central bullion and velvet crown over silver bullion ‘VR’ cypher reversed and interlaced, this in turn overlaid with a gold bullion lace and crimson velvet county rose; complete with red moroccan leather bag, ‘D’ rings etc. contained in a good quality modern glazed frame, (see Carman MHS Special Number 1987 p24), two minute surface moth areas to the face otherwise very good condition £500-700
