Sub-Lieutenant Henry Staveley Pilkington Shaw, Royal Navy, died on 12 January 1918, aged 20 years, whilst serving aboard H.M.S. Apal. The son of Arthur Pilkington Shaw and Mary Anna Shaw of Burfield Lodge, Old Windsor, Berkshire. His name was commemorated on the Portsmouth Naval Memorial.
