Three: Private T. Freeman, Welsh Regiment

Thomas Freeman was born in Cardiff on 1 January 1880.

He enlisted into the Army on 28 September 1914 and with the 11th Battalion Welsh Regiment (Cardiff Pals) entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 5 September 1915. Service with the M.E.F. during 1915-18 followed. He was discharged on 16 May 1918 due to bronchitis.

Sold with post card photograph and original Discharge Certificate, Charcter Certificate and letter from the Pension Appeal Tribunal; also with copied research confirming the Silver War Badge.
