Sold with two group photographs of the recipient, one in Army, the other in Fire Brigade uniform. Also with a typed and signed written order to Serjeant Slinger, dated Lorogumu, 19 October 1918 and a handwritten ‘certificate’ stating, ‘Sgts. Slinger and Bunning are being sent on this draft on account of being Qualified Lewis Gunners’, signed by the Acting Adjutant of the 3/6 K.A.R. Serjeant Ambrose Slinger was later a Fire Officer living and serving at Heywood, Lancashire.
