Gunner James Cobb served in Lieutenant Colonel Ross’s “A” Troop, R.H.A. in the Waterloo campaign. He lived to claim the Military General Service Medal with clasps for Busaco, Ciudad Rodrigo, Badajoz, Salamanca, Vittoria and Pyrenees.
